A "friend" found out I was doing this

Hi all!

Well something really shitty happened. By accident a former friend found out about me camming.
She is my husbands brother current girlfriend and was my friend before that for 20 years.(not anymore)
She stumbelled uppon my twitter and found some pictures.
The problem I have is her reaction to it. She has sent me so many hate messages on levels of insult I have never heard in my life...to me or to another...even going as far as saying I am only pretending to everyone else I love my baby girl !?

This has left me in complete shock. I have stored and screenshot all her messages with my only reply being that she is not allowed to go near my daughter anymore because what she wrote is pure malice.

Now...my question is did anything similar happen to any of you and if it did ( I hope it didn't) how did you deal with it?

At this point I am thinking about a law suit or some form of legal warning at least.

No one should give them selves the right to write such things..ever!!

I am sooo sorry that happened to you.

I am not sure you can sue unless she keeps harassing you. You were wise to keep the texts, just in case she starts texting you again. If you told her to stop contacting you and block her number, but she continues to contact you then you could get a restraining order.

Again, sorry for you loss and terrible experience. This is the reason I have only told my partner. I do not feel ashamed of camming, but you never know how someone will respond to it. Also, I do not want male acquaintances thinking they are entitled to my body bc I am in sex work.
