I wonder if cam models who work consistently and do well financially have good social lives offline too. I personally doubt it.
In this industry the majority of time we spend on our business is right inside our home/studio.
For me personally, I have noticed that my time spent socially- outside of work has not been as important or appealing to me as it once was. I still get together with friends and family, but my time is limited now. I'm very particular about who I spend time with.
The fact is: I'm never bored and never lack company outside of the internet because I spend time with people I enjoy every day. (this site included!)
I feel satisfied with my current social endeavors which are mostly online. I have lost touch with many 'acquaintances' who I realize were never that important to me. I don't even go to facebook like I used to. Ehhh- too politically correct. Fun to see photos of families and pets 0 but not my thing anymore. I'm sure people think I don't do much anymore- but I keep this life a secret, so they don't see/know my whole story- and have no idea how social I really am. I'm happy with this form of socialization. I enjoy it very much.
In this field- we make so many connections. I find it rewarding- and consider many of my clients close friends and lovers. They fill a need I have to be a social creature.
