As a cam girl myself, I realize that much of the cam girl "help and support" available are paid services trying to make a business out of "helping". Of course, there are great, free, and informative help and support out there as well but this is mostly about effective strategies to being a cam girl.
It made me brainstorm some ideas that would actually be cam girl help and support without any money making goals in mind or strings attached. It would be more like a nonprofit/charity dedicated to cam girls. Some ideas include:
- Financial aid for cam girls that need help to get started, such as providing webcams or paying x amount for computer costs and/or internet services for qualifying girls.
- A wealth of in-depth information concerning topics of privacy and how to protect your personal identity and information along with in-depth information about respecting yourself, business tricks, taxes, etc.
- Popular cam websites to work for, with their pros and cons.
- Advise on how to deal with tricky or demanding chatters.
- Setting limitations for yourself and sticking to them.
I realize there are many sex worker nonprofits already available but none (that I found) specifically for our cam girl world that is ever growing faster and faster.
I'd love to know any thoughts you have that you think may benefit this cause.
