Camming and CPS/kids

So I've got a great girl working with me now. She has 3 kids and a crazy ex. She's afraid that he might try and use camming against her and get CPS involved and get the kids taken away.

Has anyone ever had an ex threaten this on you?

I havent had this happen. Thats really a rough spot, no easy answer. But the advice I can give is keep it quiet, the fewer people who know what you do, the better off you will be. Live alone if you can. Hide it from your kids. Tell only who you must. Child protection services will likely not understand. Im sure theres exceptions to what I say. But ive kept it quiet for over a decade, lied my ass off, not had a lot of friends, and never had any issues. Im in a good marriage with a very strong man who is secure, not intimidated by what I do, and doesnt get involved with my job. Hope this helps.
