Camming Parents

I wanted to start a thread for the parents. I am one. Who else it out there?

What issues do you run across when it comes to being a parent AND a cam model?

My biggest issue right now is time management. I have all these goals since having my second (and last) kiddo in December. I need a three bedroom place for us. I want to be able to buy them things. I want to not worry so damn much about the bills. I want to be home with them.

The kids are up early, it's a long day (I fit in a nap with the kids), and then as soon as they go to bed... I am on cam. I get tired after a couple hours, though. Especially when I think about what time I'll be waking up with them.

They aren't old enough to understand what I do so I don't really have that problem yet. Won't be much longer, though. The eldest is seven going on fifteen.

I have 3 minions of my own (12, 10, & 8) with my ex-husband. We share custody so they live with him for 6months and me the other 6. I work like a dog when the are with their father because I know how hard it is to get time online when they are here (sports/music lessons/ school and social activities...etc).

Time management was a huge problem for me when I just started camming too...seemed like there wasn't enough time in the day to do everything I wanted/needed in order to generate a respectable income. I worked my way thru it with the help of Google Calender and simply sticking to my schedule...Hell I even schedule ME Time!!! LOL! It works tho because I'm no where near as stressed out as I used to be, my money is excellent, my kids are able to do their thing, and we are living happily ever after.

I DO cam when they are home sometimes, but it's not an issue because they are old enough to play downstairs or in the basement without disturbing me for hours. But school/daycamp/or even dropping them off to their grandparents for a while has been a lifesaver in the past. They don't know that I cam, none of my family does...I figure if/when they find out I will address it like an adult because I'm not ashamed at all. But then again the internet is HUGE and there are BILLIONS of cammers out there...I'm indy, and they would LITERALLY have to search for my cam-name in order to find me. This could take awhile..lol.
