Yesterday, I had lowered my private show prices on Chaturbate from 30tks/min ($3.00/min) to 18tks/min ($1.80/min). I had advertised it (and had really meant it) as "this day only."
However, after doing so, I received 5 private show requests; never going a full hour without someone wanting a PVT. I had never worked so hard in my short time of being a camgirl, and the money.. well, let's just say I hit a high goal and now I'm feeling extremely tempted to keep my prices as it is to see if I can hit this goal (or even my low goal, which is a struggle!) daily.
Of course, I am worried about what kind of domino effect this will have, both on myself and other cam models. If I higher my prices in the future, will I lose many paying members? Will I burnout quickly?
If I keep my prices at 18tks/min, will this put a strain on other models to lower their prices, too? Will I be looked down upon by other models?
I have even tried charging 60tks/min ($6.00), but that was clearly too high for me. 30tks/min usually gets me one private show once every cam session or two. As you can probably understand, having 5 private shows in one camming session was a huge success for me.
Any and all input from other models with low prices (such as $1.80/min) would be extremely helpful. Was/is it worth it in the long run?
I am planning on extending the discount prices for this weekend to see if yesterday was a coincidentally lucky day or not.
