Custom Video Pricing.

I just got a request to do a custom video. I let the guy know that my videos start at $25 and up. I charged $30 for this particular video he wanted. He replies back and says …. “What can I get for $5 or $10??” In my head, I’m like, for $5, $10 you can get TF out my face lol but I say to him, “I don’t do custom videos that low” and I get no reply. Which is fine. I really dislike cheap men and I feel like he’s one of the ones that will post me on a site for profit. How much is too cheap or too expensive for a custom video?? How much do you charge for customs?

Industry standard was $10 per minute for years but I notice a lot begin at $15 to $20 per minute and go up from there. Customs can be a lot of time consuming work, especially if you use costumes, special makeup or special effects and editing.
