Do you Skype?

I've had this question pelted at me at least a few dozen times a day. It's annoying at best, but I'd like to shed a little light on the topic...especially for those considering Skype as an alternative to camsites.

First of all, if I am chatting with someone on a camsite, why would I forfeit the security of my workzone to go to an uncharted, unsafe territory?

There are numerous things to consider when Skyping...

1) Pay - how will the customer pay you?

2) Pay Method - what is the safest pay method and how will the compensation be delivered?

3) Which pay method allows adult entertainment transactions?

4) Safety & Distribution - will you be recorded by the customer and if so will the customer distribute your video to other customers?

5) How will I manage my camsite as well as Skype shows?

These are my main concerns and the reasons why I have decided not to do Skype shows. However, Skype seems to be a huge pull for a majority of the customers I've come into contact. The most common reason I've been told is that it's for the sole purpose of giving the model all the money. Seriously? Since when is a customer worried about my financial welfare?

Nothing is 100% foolproof and as such models may have found Skype to be quite lucrative, but at what price?

At this time, I'm sticking with the camsite and the security/comfort it gives me that I've been paid for private/group shows. One could argue that camming has its vulnerabilities. True, but to what extent are the vulnerabilities available?
