False tips and how to distinguish them?

A couple of days ago i was getting tipped then had someone tip me in yellow with no amount of tokens..one of the guys called him out on it! then everyone in the room ask to ban him!..so i did..is there any way that the website to protect us from this..because i was on another site and same thing happen but that was in yellow with amount of tip but my ringer did not ring? and nothing in my tip area..does the website ban them from playing those games beside us and are ban button? Thanks for any info?

I don't think the site does anything about this. Really the only way you can distinguish if it was a real one or not is if the sound goes off and if the tip amount changes.
