getting my first photo shoot done today..

im super nervous about someone taking my pictures. i dont know what to expect? they are NOT going to be rated R, they are just going to be PG 13 pics.. so i guess i have a few questions.. first, Do i need to wear my make-up a little heavier then regular days? second, Will he put me in the right poses to make you look better? im not perfect by any means (muffin top) (not tone) etc.. maybe im just over thinking it..

if anyone has done a photo shoot before what am i in store for? thank you

It's good that you are aware! I shoot with girls all the time who are very new. I've been modeling for about five years, so I can give you a little bit of advice. I also recently lost thirty pounds so know all to well how one wants to hide certain less flattering bits.
Always go make up ready. Depending on the look you're going for depends on what make up you're going to use. I say full foundation and powder, plenty of blush, but don't go over kill. Also use eyelashes! They make a huge difference and make your eyes pop.
It sounds to me like you want to do more of an implied nude/glamor shoot. Wear things that flatter your figure. If the photos good he will tell you how to pose so as to get the best possible photos of you. Tell him your concerns before you shoot.
Also, remember just to relax and have fun! If you're having fun it will show in the photos.
