I am one of those lucky women with thick full hair... I tend to just let it air dry and it turns into voluminous waves, great right?
Well that's about all I can do to my hair, except for pig/pony tails and blow-drying it as straight as I can. My hair straightener is great, but even when I spend hours straightening it in tiny layers, I always end up with kinks from my natural waves on the top of my head and by my ears. They look stupid so I don't even bother trying to straighten it anymore.
My question is; Does anyone have any hair styling techniques they would be willing to pass on for thick, reeaally thick hair (Seriously, I get a trim and it looks like someone had their head shaved from a mop-top)? I can't use a curling iron for the life of me, and my hair has a hard time holding once I set it into place with the strongest hairspray possible. I like my natural look, but I'm getting bored with it, it would be nice to get a new style without cutting my hair.
So yeah, tips and how to's for styling really really thick hair is what I'm looking for. Can anyone help?
