Here is my advice about studios:
If you are more of indie model, you really do not need studios. But I am not anti-studio Smiley However, I would advice for you if you want to work for studios, pick one that has either an great physical studio and/ or has an great reputation. I will tell you about my experience at North American studios. Many North American studios (mostly virtual studios) are just not great to their models. When many of them recruit studio managers and assistant managers; they train them to lock models into bad contracts and micromanage the hell of them.
I used to be an studio manager at TouchmeTeaseMe back in 2012 for three months and it was just an hellish experience for me. I saw many crappy things happen to models there including underselling minority performers and cutting large percentages out of Eastern European models' checks. I do not have experience with European, Asian, African, or South American studios. I only have experience with North American studios....usually virtual ones. Also, I only did management positions at at them. Yes, I work briefly at some other virtual studios but they failed within one year.My point is that you must choose your camstudio carefully if you decide to become an studio girl.
