Hopeles as an independent cam girl?

I feel totally hopeless as an independent cam girl. Trying to get traffic to my site and getting paying customers is next to impossible. I promote everyday on AdultSpace, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and I am on MyFreeCams a lot trying to sell my site and have links to my site and social media on my MFC profile. I've maybe made $400-$500 from my site http://www.kaylacurves.net in the last 5 months since I launched it. Finding sites that can bring good traffic to my site where guys will actually buy Skype cam shows from me seems next to impossible. Does anyone have any ideas on where to advertise and how to actually bring paying guys to my site? I feel clueless/hopeless.

Find other indy models who have a 'links' page to post banner ads.
You create a banner ad to be posted on their links page, and they share their banner ads to post on your links page. I see escorts and models doing this.

Do they have to come only through your site? Rather than struggling trying to do it all yourself, have you posted yourself on all the available indy model referral sites who list your profile (SkyPrivate, Adultwork, Model Centro, etc.)?

Remember, nothings free. You're either going to pay with your time (and frustration) or pay a fee to the site who allows you to advertise and then (hopefully) supplies you with a steady stream of business.
