We hear and see a number of figures bandied regarding the amount of money the Cam industry is worth, but one does wonder if the US$2 billion annual profit figure quoted in 2016 by Laszlo Czero former CEO of Live Jasmin and current Europe CEO of Streamate is realistic. Harry Varwijk estimated that profits yielded by webcam hosting would reach US$10 billion by 2020 and that’s just around the corner.
