I went online for the first time yesterday evening on Myfreecam. It was my first camming session. Yay, I did it! I had thought about this for a year and a half and always pushed it back, by fear.
I understand what you mean when you say it's intimidating. There are so many things going on at the same time! The chat room, the private messages, the idiots ruining the mood, even aggressive/rude guys, etc. and, yes, a lot of guys asking for Skype shows! I've never done Skype shows, and I don't really understand how they are supposed to pay us for that (sorry, very new to this). It went better than I thought though, having several members in my room and chatting a lot, which was my goal. I stayed online for 2hrs30 only and told them I wanted to start slowly because I had a lot of things to learn. Most guys were nice and helpful, but of course a lot tried to get me fully naked for free, instantly. I made 56$ during these 2hrs30, and I am satisfied with it because I thought I would make nothing! lol
I read a lot of information about camming to be prepared, but wow, this job requires to learn so many things, so quickly, that I'm not done searching, reading, learning. I'm glad this site exists!
