I live in a rural location (sorta) and have limited internet providers. Years ago I tried the netgear box which worked for awhile then just stopped I think they changed something with the cell phone towers (this was in 2008). I then went to satellite internet which worked and was acceptable fast however it was super expensive due to gig use. I paid around $300 a month for it. Then I found out about a t-1 line which is almost $400 a month I had to sign a three year contract and sucks ass does not even begin to cover the night mare this thing is. It is far from consistent and only 1.4mg up and 1.4mg down.
I checked into cable internet and the cable provider wants $24,000 (yes that is three zeros) to install it plus a monthly fee.
My question is this does anyone use the current cell phone based internet providers to use with camming?
DSL of any kind is not an option here they do not service this area and neither is Uverse...
