Is worrying really necessary?

The longer I do this... the less I want to take extra precautions to conceal my identity or location.

Besides my Brits (they love me for some reason), the majority of my clients tend to get pretty local. I think guys like the idea that you're close to them, your cultures are usually in line, such as fave sports teams, popular slang, seasonal activities, etc. The more a guy connects with you the more likely he'll want to spend more money on you, right?

Recovering from PTSD and anxiety & panic disorder, I've really come terms with the fact that bad people are going to do bad things and if you're the victim, it's not your fault. So if someone really wants to hurt me, stalk me, harass me... they're going to do it no matter what. I'm not saying I want to start going by my real name and ask my custies for hangouts but, hiding who I am just seems more and more pointless to me and feels like it causes more stress than I need.

Who cares if you know what city I'm in... I'm still not going to fuck you.
No, I'm not going to meet up with you.
Try and do otherwise and you're going to jail.
Try to hurt me and be damned if I don't fight back.
If you do something inappropriate, that's on you, not me.

Especially since I've decided that I'm going to make this my career and am thinking about professional pornography and more relevent, in-person domination. Wouldn't it be good for business to already have all the local subs waiting for the day I go "non-digital"?

I know, prevention is the best protection. But I don't want to live in fear. People make themselves more vulnerable and open to dangerous people on dating sites theses days, I don't think I'm more at risk than those people, just because I'm a webcam model.

I'm pretty much venting, but I would like some insight/opinions/feelings on the matter before making a final decision.
