So I was wondering if any of you lovely people use a bookkeeper or accountant to handle your taxes as an independent contractor? I am searching for one right now and am wondering what is the best route to handle my taxes. Also, does anyone know what is allowable to deduct (clothing, makeup, toys, salons, etc...)?

I was also curious about makeup and toys being a 'business' expense, but that sounds like something an accountant should know when filing your taxes for you.
