Hi everyone,
I've been camming and uploading content on and off for the past few weeks.
I got into freelance hairstyling a few years ago after getting sick of the clerical/admin type work I used to do before. Now, the salon environment has become a turn off for me and I've been looking for ways to diversify my income and get out of it.
On most of the sites I've signed up to try, I've blocked my home country as well as the U.S.
Basically, I don't mind if someone (a passerby, acquaintance, etc) finds me online. Even if a family member were to find me online, it's my sexuality and my personal life and they don't have a claim over it.
However, with the other things I do as a hobby and to create residual income (basically YouTube, blogging, writing ebooks, etc), I would never want one of followers to come across my camming content. I feel it would drag my image and credibility down. It's been holding me back. My boyfriend also doesn't know I do this.
Over 90 percent of the cam girls I've seen speak on the topic of exposure, say that you will be outted sooner or later and that it just comes with the territory.
I actually prefer creating content than live streaming. Besides geo blocking (which I understand isn't that effective), are there any other tips to limit exposure? I'm trying to make camming/content creation more of a part-time job for extra income.
Thanks,
Marley
