I usually avoid watching the news but it's kind of been hard to avoid this week. First I learned that Macy's was closing locations and that a lot of people would be losing their jobs as a result. Next on the list, Target is closing locations and now JCPenny. Maybe I'm over reacting but since we get customers from all walks of life, it makes Me wonder if our money will also be affected. I've always made it a point not to listen to the news whenever they make false claims about the economy getting better but it's also not a good idea to listen much when they talk about negative things because they like to oversell just for the ratings. Maybe I'm just feeling hyper-sensative because I've had conventional jobs and I know the dreaded feeling of not having a backup just in case. Bu when I was dancing, I didn't think we'd be affected much until locals lost their jobs and couldn't afford lap dances. I usually prefer tourists but when there aren't conventions in towns, locals will spend money. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else panics or thinks about these things whenever they hear about stores or companies closing
