I tried at the beginning, but it wasn't a success. That sound a bit like begging in my mind and well you can guess that you and I are not the only ones doing it.
but there is others options.
Personally I added the paid friends ones to a club called friends (mfc club) So when I want them to notice me I send a freebie to every member of the club like a short vid that they can watch on mfc friend club only, so they come to see the video or photos and they can see that I am on cam at this right moment (you know that when you are on cam, your stream is visible on your mfc share profile?)
and if they read the message afterwards when you are not online anymore, they can watch your video anyway and tip something else.
I am doing this like this since I was told that It looks more legit and maybe less desperate to send a message to a "club" so they feel they have some advantages.
Technicaly its exactly the same thing because I don't use the club mail but direct messages to multiple recipient via myfreecam mail. the only difference is that I make a tittle like "Friend club free video of the day" and I put a link to the album in the message body.
It works for me, I didn't cam since months but I still receive some messages, offline or albums tips from my friends and other clubs.
I didn't even cam a lot tbh Maybe a few weeks in february/march and I still get tips and friend requests.
