No toys or alternatives to toys

So I'm travelling. Every couple of months I move to a different country and keep going. Since I spent the last year living in mostly hostels (dorms) I put camming on the shelf because of the privacy issue (and also because I kept fighting with "First choice pay" about my card and finally gave up). Instead I've been working as a chathost (no cam, just typing) on two separate Swedish sites. The pay isn't really anything to get excited about (honestly; it sucks) and the managers and coaches on these sites leave you less than excited to get any work done, not to mention that it's extremely boring. After recieving two warnings this week from the site I'm currently working on for bullshit things, I sat flipping through the photos from my days camming and wondering why I'm doing this. Sure, camming isn't necessarily free from abuse either, but at least then I can usually block whoever it's coming from - this obviously isn't the case here.
So I again started thinking about returning to cam instead, somehow getting the lack of privacy to work to my advantage (I have a few ideas).

BUT! After standing around mortified watching not one but 4 customs agents going through my bags and lifting up my dildos into the air for all the world to see at the airport a few months ago, I threw them away before my departing for my next destination. That kind of humiliation isn't really something I care to re-live any time soon. I know there is always the option of picking up new toys after arriving at the new destination when I travel, and although I do admit that I enjoy browsing the shelves at sex shops, it doesn't always seem like a fun expense to deal with every couple of months, so I began wondering if it's at all possible to have any success without toys or if there are other alternatives. Anyone have any ideas? Slapping condoms on cucumber and bananas or I don't know..

My Cam4 coach said "field cucumbers" are good - I guess they don't have too many bumps on them or something. Cucumbers and bananas are great, cheap as heck, easy to find, and disposable. Always wash these fruits/vegetables and use a condom, and enjoy! I think a lot of people find using fruits/vegetables as toys is very sexy, a little surprising, and eye catching. It's also a great way to start a conversation one day - as to why you use it - could open a door to talk about travel without giving away too much info, or some other things. I think it's worth a shot.

You can also look into a moderately priced electric toothbrush - I have no idea what to recommend and I'm in the US but maybe they make some cute looking ones that can be a "toothbrush" at the airport but a toy at home

I'm sure you will think of something creative and easy, I hope it works out.
