OnlyFans Just Walked Back Its Decision To Ban 'Sexually Explicit' Content
The company thanked creators and fans for "making your voices heard."

Content-sharing platform OnlyFans has reverted its decision to ban the posting of content that contains "sexually explicit conduct," after the move prompted backlash from content creators and users.

In a short statement on August 25, the company wrote, "Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard."

"We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change," it continued

This shows that this company has 0 credibility and no one should rely solely on it for making a living. It's like McDonald's telling 90% of its employees that they're fired, then 3 days later "oops, we were joking, come back to work lol".
I can tell you with certainty that they lost a great deal of content makers, which also discovered that there's better options out there in terms of site support and ease of use. And tens of thousands of subscribers just left - I've read that some creators lost between 500-1500 subscribers overnight, some even more than 5000 since the first OF announcement.
OF probably realized all of a sudden that WE, the adult content creators, made them. And now they're groveling worse than a humiliation sub. But the damage was done, and no matter what they finally decide, they'll lose important traffic and income.
