P.O. Box (or the equivalent)

I never knew there were so many choices! All I wanted to do was have a place for treats to be sent to me. I had no idea that different sizes existed, haha. I'm kinda naive when it comes to things like this. I guess my question is: What kind of experiences do y'all have with recving packages? I'd feel bad renting the smaller one & only getting boxes that don't fit. I don't want to piss of the mail-people, but I don't think I'll need a huge one either. Also, how exactly did you explain to the people at the post office about the different name? I, for one, do not give out my real name because that is dangerous & I don't want a stalker if I can help it. The Post Office requires 2 forms of ID which obviously will show my full & legal name. I hope I won't get too much flack for picking up packages under a different name.

I called the Post Office to ask all these questions already, but the woman was very short & insisted I go in to the branch if I had any questions. I don't understand why a phone number is listed if I'm not supposed to call it...

If you are looking to get a P.O. Box I would look into getting it at mailbox etc., UPS store or some place such as that. They don't care so much about what name the pkgs. come in. Also depending on how worried you are about stalkers I would look for one in the next town over. This way some one might be able to now your State, but they wont get your town.
