Recommendation for a US phone number app or site

Hello,

I am a PSO and I need to have a good reliable app or website to get an US phone number for calls, texts. Preferably to be free but is ok and paid if it is a good one.
I used Textplus up till now but it does not work anymore, it has tons of bugs and I lose calls and money with it.

You can get a Skype phone #. I think there is a small monthly fee.
