I am at the point of total frustration and I could use some guidance or validation.
I started camming in 2009 and I was marketing as a girl next door, sexy young, GFE sort of thing. It went over well and I had a steady stream of clients for about 5 years on MFC, ImLive and MGF.

I took some years off and got a little darker looking, so now I'm back and marketing as a dominatrix. It seems like a different landscape then when I left though... I am sure that private rooms are better for fetish since there's less chance other guys will be into the same fetishes.

This led me to ImLive where I did find fetishists willing to do long sessions, but they only pay 30% and I'm resenting that I don't keep more for my time.
I also signed up for Cam Model Directory which I really like the format of and the payout is way better, but they only pay Canadian's by pre-paid mastercard and I need a utility bill with my name on it to get one (I'm subletting, I have nothing like this).
Then I signed up for NiteFlirt which seems to have a huge fetish community, but it's so crowded that I probably have to bid to be seen at all. I haven't gotten a single call.
Finally I joined Chaturbate because they have a high payout, but as I suspected the room tipping model didn't work very well for domination, and no one took me into private and most were very thrown off by how strict I was about fetish. They all wanted to convert me to a sub.

I have professional photos and would like a space where I can take on regulars, get paid with cheque or direct deposit, make more than 30% and be in the company of a fetish audience.

Unfortunately over the years a lot of the cam sites have gone a lil down hill as a lot more guys want freebies and most dont chat or comunicate at all. Especially on imlive as they have made it so guests cant talk or contact models anymore unless they sign up so there has been a major decrease in their traffic and honestly imlive was one of my highest paying sites and since they have made that change i'm lucky if i make anything in a month on there and its not even enough to call pocket change. The only reason i keep the account and try every once in a while is for the instant pay with no minimum. But don't let that get you down there are still guys willing to pay and some do pay very well. I work on multiple sites but i get most of my Fetish shows on streamate. I make them go exclusive only. You can set your own prices too. I used to work for cam sites alone but now i work for them under boleynmodels.com , they have daily pay, amazing customer support, payout minimum is $20 and they dont require you to have a utility bill just a photo id. They also have payout advances and with taxes and everythng you dont have to keep track of every site your on they do everything for you which takes a lot of the stress off as models are usually really busy.
