Leg Lingerie is so sexy, guys love it, but it tends to be expensive. A few years ago I found Walmart has their own 'George' brand for $5.50, which is about 1/3 the price from Victoria's Secret. Who needs to spend THAT kind of money for cam work?
Here's my secrets for getting the longest life out of ANY thigh high stockings. There have been Walmart thigh highs I've used DAILY on cam for weeks before they give out. Seriously! The Walmart 'George' brand, available only in stores (they have a 'locate in store' option, which might help).
I haven't had problems with them running, but they do NOT have reinforced toes (which makes them look sexier, IMHO). But for less than $6 a pair I think they are fabulous!
SUGGESTIONS:
1. If you want the lace top to be high on your thigh, high-up by your panties, try buying the next larger size. The sizing chart will have them fit like the picture, half way down your thigh.
2. Do NOT have moisture lotion or oils on your skin, neither your legs or on your hands while putting stockings on! Especially NOT where the bands are to stick around your thigh. Oils and sweat (or a coating of fake tan on your skin?) will cause the grips to weaken, allowing the stocking to fall around your ankle. Ack!
3. For best adhesion, on your thigh where the band will go, use some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or rag & wipe your skin to clean off any oils that may be there. WARNING: This may also remove your spray tan, so check first!!!!
4. Don't pull the stocking toe super tight against your toenails. Since these don't have a reinforced toe, allowing a little 'give' will help keep your toenails from cutting through them.
CARE for getting the longest use from ANY thigh high stockings:
When finished wearing them, use a cotton ball or rag lightly wet with rubbing alcohol to clean the silicone bands. The bands lose stickiness due to your skin cells & skin oils after the 1st wearing or so. Cleaning the bands, then pressing the silicone bands together to store them between wearings (just as they did in the package) should make the bands 'gummy' again for your next wearing.
If you feel you must wash them, I only hand wash the foot area, leaving the silicone lace tops out of the water so I don't damage the stick'em.
If you follow my suggestions for care I think your $5.50 investment in thigh highs might net you $100's of dollars in shows like they do for me =)
PS: Keep an eye out for the back-seam black stockings! OMG they are soooooo sexy. I've bought every pair I can find.
