Lets see your cam setup. I use the logitec BCC950 because of the remote pan/tilt/zoom facility.
Always have the cam and keyboard above your head height, never look down on a cam, it wrinkles your neck up. Have the light so you are looking into it.
I cam during the day so use the natural light coming in from the window.
The ring light is for when the light starts to fade. Put your cam behind the light so it's looking through it. I see lots of girls doing it the other way round.
I use a laptop with wired wifi at home so I get the best connection. When I'm camming on vacation I take my Surface pro 3, it works really well and is mega portable.
