I'm new to camming but would like to provide the best show I possibly can starting out. One thing I'd like to do is be able to play music in my chat room but also be able to be heard when I speak. Other rooms I have visited sound garbled or even ear piercing from their music, or you can't hear or understand the person who is chatting. I don't want my room to sound that way. So I am looking for any advice others may have.
The main questions I have are these.
1) Should I play music from my computer or another source? With the speakers being so close to my cam is this a good thing or bad? Will their being too close cause distortion? Will their being too far be muffled?
2) How would I test out how it sounds? Would making some demo video recordings of various set ups really show how it would sound in my chat room? Or just in my livingroom?
3) And if I get it figured out would anyone mind popping into my room sometime to check it out? I'd appreciate some actual feedback.
Any other thoughts please let me know.
