Streaming DSLR as webcam?

Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone on here uses a DSLR to stream their cam instead of a webcam? I've been using the Logitech C920 and it's just not cutting it-- the reviews were great It looks like some of the more successful girls on the camsite I'm using also use DSLRs of some sort.

I was thinking of getting a Canon Rebel T2I to stream, since Nikon doesn't seem compatible. I was mostly wondering what anyone here uses if they use DSLR instead of an official webcam. If you are pleased with the quality of your webcam, feel free to mention that as well! Any info would be useful for me.

I use C920 too and is working great.you might have some lighting problem.Did you try to add some powerful lights in your room? Like 2 lamps,or some studio lights (softbox or that umbrella...or 2 simple lamps from ikea placed in each of the 2 sides of the computer,left and right). C290 requires lots of light to stream great.
