Suspended Twitter?

So my Twitter account got suspended a few weeks ago because apparently Twitter thought I was following too many people and assumed I was "spam".
I've taken the steps to try and retrieve it but havent heard anything back from Twitter. Its annoying because I actually had a decent following on there and now its gone.
Im just wondering if I should wait for them to give it back to me or make a new one? Does anyone know of a way to get their Twitter unsuspended faster? Because its my main use for promotion and I cant even use it right now.

I've been suspended 2x:
1st, was like you, following too aggressively.
2nd, I have no clue what happened
Both times I've gotten it back by following the steps they lay out. I think it took about 7-10 days each time. It's very frustrating, and nerve wracking!

I almost missed the step where they say you need to verify the email they send you, or something like that. Read the instructions carefully and follow them to the letter and you should get your account back. I would fight to have it restored! I told them I have a lot of loyal followers who depend on communicating with me through Twitter, so PLEASE restore my account and I'll be VERY careful from here on out. That worked for me!

Also, make sure your Twitter 'Account' settings has this box ticked which flags your account as containing 'adult' content. It's meant to prevent minors or others from seeing your tweets/account; here's what it says:

"Please check this box if your Tweets contain sensitive media so that users can be informed prior to viewing."

I would also make sure you have something in your profile header info saying "only 18+" or "contains adult content", something like that.

You don't want Twitter booting you for not properly labeling your content (and people will block & report your account!)
