I'm going to be doing another shower show tonight so I wanted to see if any of you girls had any advice and experiences you've had doing them. I've done 3 or 4 now and they always do very well but there are a few problems.
1. Water + Electronics
I think this point should speak for itself but I'm going to elaborate anyway. We use a laptop, a spare monitor and the webcam. I try to place the webcam as close as I can without being in the splash-zone but between the steam and sometimes energetic movements under the showerhead water will make its way into the electronics. What do you do to combat this? I've thought about placing a clear barrier in front of the camera, but then the mic would be blocked.
2. Hot Water
We've got a really small water heater so after half an hour the water is getting to chilly to stay in, I try to ration the hot water and keep it as cool as I can stand for as long as I can stand but it just isn't very comfortable and If you arent comfortable the show just isn't as good. This is an area I really don't have any ideas on how to improve (we rent, so replacement water heaters or in-line heaters arent an option)
3. Sound
Showers are loud, or at least mine is. Maybe a new showerhead can fix this problem but I imagine viewers arent too fond of the constant barrage of rushing water blasting through their speakers so they can try to hear me. Another area I can't think of a fix other than trying a new shower head, but I still thought y'all may have some advice.
4. What do you do in the shower?
I typically just kind of idly dance and rarely get to actually shower. I start wearing a white tanktop and cute panties and it can take a bit for viewers to start tipping the clothes off long enough for me to get soapy. I use a dildo with a suction cup also so that can get quite fun if the tippers are going crazy. But what else? It feels like a lot of time is spent just standing in the lukewarm water waiting for tips, what should my default idle be? Maybe switching camera angles to tease more while I actually shower... I think that's what I will try tonight if it slows down.
