Using big sites to promote indy

I'm a new cam girl and want to start off working both big sites and doing indy Skype shows. My main focus, though, is on building my own indy business. What strategies do y'all use for promoting your indy shows while on big sites? Are specific sites better than others?

I was going to start out on streammate and/or imlive and put my twitter handle in my profile. I was also going to hang out on chaturbate some just teases and post that I was doing those shows on my site as a sort of preview.

LJ will suspend your accounts for 24hrs, if you're lucky, if not...they'll ban you too. Best thing to do is use the same name everywhere they will find you. Sometimes you get lucky and they mention were they seen you in your free chat. Be aware if you use a guest account they can see the IP's match.
