Wanting to get started as a BBW/Fetish webcam model

So I'm trying to get set up and get started as a webcam bbw/fetish model. I'd been advised that chaturbate is probably the best place to start and I'm waiting to be approved. I've been approved at some other sites, but I'm a little confused by the whole... Token system.

What is the best way to gain fans and advertise yourself? Should I start a tumblr and a twitter? I don't have much lingerie (or even 'girly' clothes) and I am super broke.

Can anyone offer places to buy plus size clothing/lingerie cheaply? Should I set up an amazon wishlist?

What websites would you recommend for BBW/Fetish models for cam shows and for selling clips and videos?

First, you do realize that most sites, put you on the public home page where your neighbor or brother can find you? Streamate is one of the only sites where you have the option of 'opting out' of being seen by the public without someone first having put their credit card down..... which shows they're a perv, and how can a perv out you? Just sayin', because that was an important part of which site I went with.

I too am now considered a BBW, and Streamate seems to have a great some hugely successful BBW models who are constantly on the 1st 4 rows.... but like anyone, BBW or not, it takes work to get there. Signing up directly they offer 35% of what you're charging.... but they have MEGA traffic compared to many other sites, so I find it worth it.

Lingerie, I like LingerieDiva.com & SheVibe.com They both have great prices. To be super devious, find what you like then price check on Amazon to see if you can find it cheaper (maybe free shipping too.... use the choice in the left column, asking for 'Free shipping by Amazon', that way you'll only see the pieces that will offer free shipping with an order over $35. Sweet!)

Unsure about the clips/videos. My privacy is important, so I don't sell that stuff. If you selling those, then I guess you're not concerned about being 'outed', am I right?

There's lots of great info on this site, so I'm sure others will put their 2cents in, or you can use the 'Search' box and find what you need, and 'Reviews' of sites that you're going to work on or host your media content =)

A lot of girls prefer token based , while others love the private based . Guess that`s all an individual choice . I`ve been on both and honestly i prefer the private based .As Joy said , streamate is a good choice , maybe give it a try and see what works for you , you can also work on 2 or more sites at once and split you webcam and after decide what works for you .You can also make few profiles on skype sites , like skyprivate or cammodeldirectory etc. You can find them all on this wonderful site .
As for clips , i think if you have a bunch of clips or intend to make , you can add them to as many sites you like .As for amazon , be careful with the settings or only accept giftcards. I bought bunch of stuff from ebay or aliexpress , also amazon , but be careful on the first 2 as the sizes are mostly asian so an 5 xl may be 1xl or 2xl on us sizes , there are lots of reviews and you can even find pics or see it clothes are really true to size on aliexpress as well . I buy stuff from there for camming sometimes as they are cheap, honestly i don`t get expensive lingerie unless it`s gifted. There are also 3 sites that have flash sale every 2 days , they have an amount of stuff for 0.01 cent and you only pay the shipping but you need to get an additional item to your order as well . They are cndirect , dresslink and newdress. Check on them and catch the flash sales. You can get with 2 $ what it may cost 10 normally. Hope it helps ! Goodluck.
