What are you worth?

Ok so we all know that that we're all in this for the money, for one reason or another. Over the past year that I've been a webcam model I have seen a gradual increase in the amount of webcam models and webcam sites. The demand for porn is obvious and the fact that people are willing to pay serious $$$ for it is obvious. With this increase in models to choose from, more and more customers are able to find cheaper to even free shows, whether via skype or through camsites which allow models who are willing to do totally nude explicit shows in their free area for very little to no tips or in the hope that customers would tip if they like what they see. Nowadays you can find models selling shows, photos and videos for very little to no money at all. Let's face it a customer will never pay for anything that they think they can get for very little or no money. So that brings us to my questions, how far are you willing to go on cam and for how much? How much will you sell your photos/ vids for? What do you think customers will be willing to pay for your content. What are you worth?

Pricing is something that I definitely need some lessons in. We've been setting our prices lower than what I think we are worth because we are new and need to build up clientele.

Although I think what you are saying is true, I am realizing that there are people willing to pay you what you are worth and THOSE are the customers I want to attract. You have to have as much exposure as possible though to find those people. For us right now that means that having low prices and/or changing our pricing around to see what happens.

It's easy in the adult industry to devalue yourself sometimes. I mean hell - sex has such a bad rep which is odd considering the number of people on the planet - clearly people like to fornicate Smiley ;) I'm choosing to take the positives and help me feel my worth and translate that to $. I think I need a vision board/dream board w/e it's called to help me profit from this job.

For now I'm flexible and don't have set limits on amounts.
