So I haven't been camming long... 3 or 4 months now maybe. One of my most loyal viewers has been around since... literally the first night I ever started camming. He has tipped generously most nights, paid for a few privates even, chatted with me, bought me wishlist items, a new hd cam... and we became friends off-cam too (not irl though. live in different parts of the country). For a while it was fine, not too big a deal. However, I'm noticing he's getting more and more needy of personal time. Whenever I am alone and would normally cam he would rather have me chatting with him for hours. Since we chat so much he knows I am in a committed relationship and such but I'm getting the feeling like he views me as a long distance girlfriend or something. A few times now he has even logged on and come into my room within minutes of me turning on my cam, tipping me whatever minimum amount I had hoped to earn that night and begging me to stop my broadcast and hop on skype with him for a few more hours. Last time he even made the comment "well its not like its your job anymore right?". Yeah, I have a day job now that takes up the majority of my time, but camming is still a job to me, even if I don't have as much time to do it anymore.
How can I get him to not be nearly so demanding of my time? I value him as a viewer and customer and friend, but it's getting to be too much. I still want him around because he does spoil me on a regular basis and I don't have much of a fan base or frequent viewers, but part of that is because he will keep me offline so much.
Has anyone else had experiences like this? How did you handle it?
