What's in a username?

I find myself sometimes scanning the pages of CB when I'm bored just reading usernames. Some are EXTREMELY god awful! Some are extremely creative, make sense, or are hilarious and give a sense of "who this person is and what type of personality I can expect if I choose to enter their room.

For instance, it took me a long time to decide to go with ThatIrishDude. Some of the ones I thought about using had already been taken (probably by someone with no intent on performance), but it is what it is.

I'm Irish (by descent), my birthday is St. Patty's Day, and I'm a dude (personality-wise).

What's the story behind your Username? Did it take time to settle on the one you use? What do you think about some of the Usernames you've seen? Are there any Usernames that you think are some of the best you've seen?

I agree fully that a username is an excellent way to convey a bit about who you are & can be excellent for brand development/marketing. I've also seen names that lend themselves to SEO heavy strategy like names that contain words like "your" "knotty" "slut" "squirter" "Goddess" etc. I think the strategy you use may just depend on how you feel and the kind of client you're hoping to attract/retain.

For Me initially I rocked BigBellaNova - "Bella" being a name of personal reference and "Nova" being one of My actual names. I used "Big" because when I just came into camming, I thought the only place for Me was in the BBW sections. As I evolved, so did My brand. I am a Domme, and I wanted the focus to be on that primarily. So I switched out for "LadyBellaNova" and it has been muchly successful. It's more cohesive with My brand and personality, and it attracts the category of client in which I am interested.
