It can be difficult because camming is so convenient and easy. You just get ready and then turn on your webcam. You really don't have to prepare anything in advance like a speech or a presentation. You don't really need to have a large knowledge base or content. You don't need to write anything or edit. I would love to produce more content but editing is very time consuming. You can be very spontaneous and work any time, 24/7. When camming is good, the earnings can be so nice because the money comes fast. You forget about the bad.
When it's slow, you begin to doubt yourself, your looks and personality. It's really hard on your self esteem. It's just like an abusive relationship. You keep thinking it will change and get better. You keep hoping that you'll get that whale and that you can finally, just maybe rank high enough on the token sites and that the dream of super success will finally come true. It's that agonizing, painful, depressing, HOPE that keeps that stupid dildo shaped carrot dangling in your face because you like it slapping your cheeks but you never actually get to shove it down your throat. The bukkake of tokens will not happen, ever, because it frustrates the hell out of you that you just don't have, "it" and you despair because you just don't know why.
Ultimately, you can only take so much abuse. Accept that it's not the career choice for you and that there is something better. Follow your joy, if camming makes you miserable most of the time then it's not for you.
