Working on desktop or bed

I will renovate my room soon ,so I am thinking if to work from bed or chair with desktop. How do you work and which do you recommend? I am afraid that I will not earn the same on a desktop,I work from bed now but it is killing my back .

you basically need room to stand up to keep it going.
