Hey guys
Is anyone using or used xtube for either selling content or camming?
They have Dm'd me 3 times now on twitter asking me to consider uploading my content there, and was wondering if any one here had any success or used it at all.

One of the main things putting me off is this:
"50% of all revenue* generated from the sale, after a 15% credit card processing fee**, of streaming, Flash Video, Photo and other new and emerging technology encoded CONTENT through THE COMPANY's Internet site."

Having to pay the 15% for payment processing before my commission is calculated, the way I see it, payment processing is their business expense and should come out of their end, but the way they have set it up so you actually cover 7.5% of the 15% payment fee. meaning you are not getting 50%, you are only getting paid 42.5%.

I have DM'd them back about the payment fee and a few others such as charge backs and traffic numbers, I'll update when i get an answer.

so just received the reply

"Well 80% of the traffic we have here is gay. The cam feature is something that recently became more popular on the site so the traffic there is not as much as we have for videos. Our amateurs are entitled to receive 42.5% of the earnings. If you are active on the site, keep in touch with the community you can make some good money. At the moment, we have members making hundreds and thousands monthly. Yes charge-backs are protected. Unfortunately we are not aware of the fees from Payoneer which is now FirstChoice Pay."

I had asked them how much of the traffic they receive is for gay content, why the profomer is paying 1/2 the payment fee, If chargebacks were protected, and what their fees for paying out by payonner is.

80% gay traffic seems high, for a site that is targeted to a straight market (when going to the site everything is set to straight to start with to get to gay content need to mess about with filters. This makes me think that the 80% gay content is BS.

42.5% is low (pretty sure it's the lowest I have seen), and they kind of dodged the question on why we need to cover 50% of the payment fee, their business model their cost in my opinion.

It bothers me that they dont know what their fees will be for paying via payoneer,,,,

It would be interesting if someone were to ask them about straight content traffic numbers, because i doubt they would say it's only 20% tbh, so it would be interesting to see what number they come up with for that.

II think sites need to start providing us with better information than simple pay numbers, things like traffic numbers are important if we are deciding on where to put our content.
