I have come to a crossroads. It is time for me to find another site to do my thing on. Free to View sites aren't a bad thing, especially when you're an artist trying to do your thing.
I am a nude artist, and I paint naked on cam. I do all the other stuff in between paint shows, but I've completely HAD IT wit CB and their reluctance to get rid of the exhibitionists who give it away for free!
Now, sometimes, as performers, we have to do what it takes to get people watching, and that is fine. However, the guys (let's face it. It's mainly guys) that are turning their cams on (and mostly) to get a girl to watch them jerk off, are ruining it for us. I recently wrote Shirly@chaturbate an e-mail regarding this issue. Here is the text of my email and her response....
Hey Shirley!
I've been in discussion with model/camgirl/camguy friends about this topic for a while now. I know that chaturbate started out as a "anything goes for free" site, but, CB is blowing up now! I enjoy my time on the site and the friends that I've made (fellow broadcasters) have been a great help in figuring out "who I am" as a cam dude. My question is this: are there plans in motion to eliminate the "exhibitionist" men from broadcasting (as it makes it difficult for males to compete with dudes "giving it away for free" since their only reason is to get girls to watch them jerk off), or, can it be something that CB can start looking into? As I said before, CB is a really great site! Extremely user friendly (except for the "moving servers" issues that bring down the site frequently), model to model friendly, and probably will turn into the "KING OF THE RING" soon! You guys (and gals) are moving in the right direction! I just needed to ask if there were any "talks" of getting rid of the afore mentioned issue of these "non-performer" male cams. Now, as one of the top cam sites currently, HOW IS THIS A GOOD MODEL?????
Exhibitionists pack the server causing a GREAT majority of the server issues we all face on Chaturbate. they add NOTHING to Chaturbate's revenue stream, and guys/girls that don't want to buy tokens to participate in a show, don't have to. Because some dude is on cam jerking off with the intent to get a girl to watch him but didn't mind to shut his cam off to everyone. I just don't see how this helps Chaturbate and why they are reluctant to change their business model.
