I've been camming now for nearly a year and I'm finding the rates to be rather tricky. When I started out with low rates and made the mistake of chatting with squatters in order to pass the boredom, my room seemed to be moderately busy but still had it's dead moments. The person in charge of the studio I worked from at the time soon suggested that I increase My rates. When I finally took the dare to raise My rates at their highest, it seemed to work out well for a while but came to a sudden halt during the summer. Most advised Me against lowering My rates but after having 2 Fri nights of making absolutely nothing, I had to lower My rates. What I'm curious to know is what are the average rates for most? I once saw a top model advertising rates as low as $1.99 because things had gotten terribly slow with it being July 4 weekend. I don't want to go too low. I'd really just like to keep My rates at a set price that will allow Me to make a certain amount of money each week instead of having to spend an insane amount of hours online for small change.
