This goes out to all you models who have public instagram accounts, Twitch streams, YouTube channels, or any other social media presence TOTALLY separate from your cam life... obviously, there's a chance you're going to be discovered by some of your cam clients or people who know your cam ID. How dangerous, in your experience, has this been?
While camming, the only site where I have any personal photos up is on Facebook, but my privacy settings are on maximum so the only thing anyone can see is my profile picture and cover photo. I also have myself only searchable if we have mutual friends. I also use a VPN. I'm not toooo worried about about a cam client/person that recognizes me seeing it, but it has stopped me from sharing photos to reddit before.
Lately though, I've been enjoying TikTok, and idk what to tell you but I just WANT to make content in there. I just like the memes, the community, and I like the idea of making people laugh because I use my sense of humor preciously little these days. I know i could get recognized in a second by anyone who has come across my cam profile/chat room, so I'm not gonna ask what my chances are. But in your opinion, how dangerous is it to have someone know your cam identity come across you elsewhere on the great internet? I go back and forth thinking I'm nuts for even thinking of showing my face on a social media app, and thinking that I'm being extremely paranoid and nothing bad is gonna happen.
I gotta admit, I'm kind of bummed that camming has me refraining from something I think I would enjoy.
