How long do you honour your prices for?

If a cust pays for a show but never gets around to actually having it, how long do you honour the original pricing? I set up 1 hour of Skype time with a guy on April 24. I have spent something like 2-3 hours communicating with him on multiple days trying to set up shows, etc. I didn't hear from him for a full month then when I was on CB the other night he was in my room and then e-mailed me, asked for 20 minutes of his time on Skype that night when I was done. I contacted him on Skype but he never got back to me! He hasn't even added me as a contact yet. Then he e-mails me the next day with yet another technical issue he had that prevented him from getting back to me. I have more than tripled my prices since I set this up and spent soooo much wasted time on him that I am thinking of telling him his 1 hour of Skype time has turned into 15 minutes. Opinions??

This guy found me my first night on CB, took me private there and then we moved to e-mail. (For the record, I don't do that anymore. My indy stuff is separate from CB.) I was ridiculously new and had no sweet clue what I was doing. I was also only charging $0.90/min which tells you right there I didn't value my own time. I would NEVER spend this much time on a guy now regardless of payment status and the only reason I did back then was because he had already paid me and I felt like I owed it to him. Now I know enough to know he might just be getting off on stringing me along. I'm e-mailing him tonight to inform him that he has 15 minutes to use on Skype and it will be at my convenience. He can test his connections and his cam and his router and all that shit on his own time, I can't be bothered anymore and the time is NOT negotiable.
Thanks MissExxxotic! I think I knew what I had to do but wanted the validation from someone more experienced. Thank you so much.

I only honor payments for 3 days after the payment goes through, and ONLY in a single block. I.e. if someone pays for a 30 minute show and hangs up after 10, they don't get another 2 shows. One payment = one show.

I'm surprised you've put up with so much shit from this guy, I would've told him to eff off a looong time ago.

the only time I will ever break up a show is if the client has obvious technical difficulties, and even then I only honor the remaining time for up to 3 days.

In this industry you really can't take any shit or they'll walk all over you.
