how long do you sit on cam with little to no activity

I didn't see this topic in the forum. If it is there I am sorry for starting it again.
How long do you sit on cam with little to no traffic before you log off and call it a day. It gets so frustrating sitting on cam with little activity almost unbearable when their is nothing. As i type this I have been on cam for an hour and couple users have jumped in and out of the room, but not privates or tips.

i sat on cam like that for about 3 months... then i built a website joined niteflirt and cmd and went indy... I have yet to look back since. my income went up about 3000 percent too.
