How long should I stick with Myfreecams?

I'm a relatively new camgirl, been at it a little less than a month, and I'm working on myfreecams.com.

I'm having trouble making any real headway. Some days I'll make a little money, and some days I make nothing. I think it has to do with exposure, when I have more people in my room I make more, because I can keep the room interesting interacting with the members. However, its very hard to get any traffic. My camscore sits around 1200, but I'm starting to feel scared about it dropping.

I'm wondering how long I should stick with this. I know a month isn't a long time, but I feel like my situation is getting worse, not better. For all the successful girls out there, or the girls at least making a decent living, how long did it take you to get there? Was there some magic jump off point? How did you break into a market where the top girls already get all the traffic?

Sorry if this is coming off a little desperate, but I just logged off after making $1.50, so I'm feeling pretty frustrated right now

I've signed up for streamate, so fingers crossed things go well there.

HI ,

this is so tricky to answer because the expectations and desired rewards of camming are so personal. In my opinion, building your income in this industry takes time. I was happy in the beginning when I made a small paycheck because I did it for free for so many years and TRULY love being sexy on cam. I also had another job at the time that gave me the income I needed to survive. Camming, for me is a naughty sexual outlet. Its addicting when you start making money.

If you don't like being on cam- it will show, and you won't have the success you desire. This won't work for you if you don't enjoy it.

Treat everyone in your room as a potential tipper in the beginning. It only takes one person to have an interesting conversation- this will allow others to see your personality. Trust me, the ones who have money to play will come around. Many super successful girls have small rooms! You don't need to have100 people in your room to make money- more people means more freeloaders. Be happy with the ones you have and make them feel special. Men tip based on how YOU make them feel!

Be yourself and be patient. Read the forums for personal tips from other cam girls, the advice here is priceless! You may need to make some changes -something simple may need to be tweaked? Check your lighting, attitude, music/mic too loud- try something different? It can't hurt to change it up if you aren't getting the attention you want.

Your income potential is large- you need to figure out what it is about you that makes you special and different than everyone else. Then, simply show the clients what that is...

not sure if this is an answer you are looking for - or if this helps at all? I hope so! Cheers!
