How to pass the time?

Hey all! I've seen so many cam models say they stream for 5,6,8,9 hours at a time and I'm wondering how you do that?

I can do maybe an hour or two before I feel like I have exhausted all my energy putting on a show (teasing, talking about the weather, following through on tip requests etc), especially if it's slow. What's the secret to staying on so long? How do you keep from getting bored or seeming boring? I'd love to start streaming for longer.

I've been thinking of editing videos during quiet spells but provide the viewers with a little windowed view of the editing program inserted into my main vid feed using OBS so they can watch my workflow. The window would be just large enough to see what I'm working on but too small to knock one out to. Make them feel part of the process so they'll be certain to buy the product.
