I haven't been very active on this site, camming was something I got into earlier in the year and later decided that it wasn't for me. I'm much too young, still living with family, etc. As it's been getting closer to the end of the year I'm realizing one thing - I've made enough money to have to pay taxes.
From January-March I made $1127.30
Do I need to file? I'm assuming I do, because I've read it's over $400. I've also been at a job from March-present where I've made about $9,000 (if that affects anything).
If I do need to file, will my dad find out? He still claims me as a dependent, but is he able to see everything that I do tax-wise or can I just blend that extra $1000 into my yearly income?
This is also a weird question that I know I probably won't get an answer to, but can anyone tell me approximately how much I would owe? Or tell me what the overall percentage generally is?
I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and help me out. I'm really freaking out here, my dad would absolutely murder me if this becomes uncovered, and I know I should have thought more about that before I even did it but we all act without thinking when we're young. I just want to handle the last of this responsibly and correctly and sweep it under the rug. Any and all information given is amazing.
