Its so hard for camgirls to stay safe in such a technologically advanced time.
I was shocked to learn that, with a simple and usually free browser plug-in, anyone can click on a photo taken with a phone and find out the exact location where the photo was taken. Did you know that your photos are GPS devices? I didn't. We take a pic and post it to twitter, FB or even our camsite, and any crazy can right-click on it and find your house. SCARY!!!
If you have an iphone, there is an easy fix for this that takes 30 seconds and may save your life.
All you have to do is go into your SETTINGS
From there, click on PRIVACY and go to LOCATION SERVICES
You can leave your other locations on, but make sure to turn OFF your camera. This does nothing to your camera or photos but make them untraceable back to your phone's location. (Of course, I have turned off my twitter location as well.)
It's not much, but it is one step closer to some creep being able to find you.
