Legal question about Streamate

I signed up for Streamate and made the mistake of making my name there the exact same thing as it was elsewhere. I know that they can technically claim it as theirs now. The site says that if you would like to change your name you should contact support.

I did, and they responded with a generic claim of impossibility. So, they said that if I wanted to change it I would have to start over with a new account. I already have a few viewers listing me as a favorite. Should I risk them claiming my name, or just start a new account? I was thinking about getting onto Chaturbate, anyway...

I wouldn't worry at all - can you imagine SM claiming everyone's usernames?;-p You'd have to generate a MASSIVE MASSIVE income so that they became interested in some business transactions with you;-p
